Kendisi aslen P\u00fct\u00fcrgeli ve Kabata\u015f Lisesi mezunu. Almanya&#8217;ya e\u011fitim i\u00e7in giderken, 2. D\u00fcnya Sava\u015f\u0131 patlam\u0131\u015f ve geri d\u00f6nm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc. Ard\u0131ndan, \u0130T\u00dc&#8217;de m\u00fchendislik e\u011fitimi, sonra MIT doktoras\u0131, sonra \u0130T\u00dc&#8217;de k\u0131sa s\u00fcren hocal\u0131k. \u0130T\u00dc&#8217;de iken T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;ye birtak\u0131m nedenlerle k\u00fcsm\u00fc\u015f ve tekrar ABD&#8217;ye d\u00f6nm\u00fc\u015f ve T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;ye bir daha hi\u00e7 gelmemi\u015fti. \u00d6yle ki, Nev beyin o\u011flu Altan bir g\u00fcn bana, &#8220;T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;ye ilk defa gidip babaannemle tan\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131mda, babam bu harika insan\u0131 bizimle y\u0131llarca \u00f6nce tan\u0131\u015ft\u0131rabilece\u011fi halde bunu yapmamas\u0131na \u00e7ok k\u0131zm\u0131\u015f ve \u00fcz\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcm&#8221;, dedi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Nev Gokcen&#8217;in \u0130T\u00dc \u00f6\u011frencilik zamanlar\u0131nda Fevzi Akkaya ve Sezai T\u00fcrke\u015f gibi bir\u00e7ok efsane \u0130T\u00dc&#8217;l\u00fc s\u0131n\u0131f arkada\u015flar\u0131 olmu\u015f. Nev Gokcen art\u0131k hayatta de\u011fil.
